PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the 1st respondent in connection with the award pronounced in I.D.No.21 of 2016 dated 11.05.2017 and quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent management to reinstate the petitioner in service with full back wages, continuity of service with all other attendant benefits. O R D E R

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that inspite of his letter dated 04.03.2024, he has not received any instruction from the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner and therefore he is constrained to report "No instructions". The learned counsel has also produced the death certificate of the deceased petitioner.

2. As the writ petitioner is deceased and the legal heirs are not substituted, the writ petition is dismissed as abated. In any event, the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner are given liberty to implead themselves and prosecute the writ petition, if so advised. The Writ petition is therefore dismissed as abated.
