Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to pass an Interim Direction directing the 1st Respondent / Petitioner to pay the Petitioner his full last drawn wages or the minimum wages as may be applicable from time to time which so ever is higher from the date of award under Section 17-B of the Industrial Dispute Act and continue to pay the wages in future on or before 10th of every month during the p( in WMP No.26948 of 2017)pending disposal of the Writ Petition.23346/2017. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.P.R.THIRUNEELAKANDAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.JOHN ZACHARIAH FOR M/S. FOX MENDEL AND ASSO.

, on behalf of the 1st Respondents the court made the following order:- The respondents are hereby directed to comply with the provisions of Section 17-B of the Industrial Dispute Act by paying the last drawn wages with effect from the date of filing of the writ petition to the writ petitioner. The arrears of wages are directed to be paid within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter monthly payment shall be paid on or before 7th of every month, till the disposal of the writ petition.

2. Accordingly, the writ miscellaneous petition is disposed of.
