Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the Debts Recovery Tribunal-III at Chennai to dispose off the S.A. Dairy No.237 of 2023 along with other miscellaneous applications in compliance with a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Ms.Shaikh Mehrunisa, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Kadhirvelu, learned counsel for the first respondent.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for more than a year the SA has not been numbered by the Debts Recovery Tribunal-III, Chennai.

3. In case, the SA filed by the petitioner is complete in all respects and if there are no defects in it, then the Registry of the Debts Recovery Tribunal-III, Chennai, shall take a decision for registration of the SA within a period of one month from today.

4. The writ petition, accordingly, is disposed of. There shall be

no order as to costs. Consequently, W.M.P.No.12698 of 2024 is closed. In view of the disposal of the writ petition, W.M.P.No.13242 of 2024 filed by the petitioner to implead the Registrar of DRT-III, Chennai as third respondent is closed.
