Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action under Law, against respondents 4 and 5 for running a Hotel/mess/Eating-House without any license at the Terrace ( third floor) of the building bearing New Door No.83, Old Door No.40, Nethaji Subash Chandra Bose Road, Chennai 600 079 and close down the said Hotel/Mess/Eating-House, as per his representations dated 11.03.2016 and 13.05.2016 to the third respondent and his Lawyer's Notice dated 29.03.2016 to the respondents 1 to 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that respondents 1 to 3 had already taken action against the respondents 4 and 5 and the hotel already closed.
2. In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Standing Counsel for Page No.2 of 4
the respondents 1 and 2, this writ petition has become infructuous and therefore nothing survives in this writ petition . Hence, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
