[Order of the Court was made by S.S. SUNDAR, J.] The above petitions are filed to condone the delay of 1366 days in filing an application to set aside the abatement caused due to the death of the 1st respondent in the above appeals; to set aside the abatement; and to bring on record the legal representatives of the deceased 1st respondent as respondents 3 to 5 in the above appeals.
2.Learned counsel who is in record for the deceased 1st respondent undertakes to file vakalat for the proposed respondents also, who are sought to be brought on record.
3.This Court is convinced with the reasons stated in the affidavits filed in support of these petitions. Considering the fact that the appeals are against the beneficiaries of land acquisition, questioning the quantum of compensation, this Court is of the view that earlier disposal of these appeals is necessary. Hence, these petitions are allowed. 4.Registry is directed to carry out the necessary amendment in the papers.
