This miscellaneous petition has been filed to condone the delay of 63 days in filing the writ appeal.

2. Though notice was served on the respondent and the name is printed in the cause list, there is no appearance for the respondent.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

4. Considering the submission made and on being satisfied with reasons stated in the affidavit, this Court is of the view that the delay may be condoned, however, on payment of cost. Accordingly, the delay is condoned on payment of cost of Rs.500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) each, by the petitioner to the Tamilnadu Legal Aid Services Authority, Chennai, on or before 20.08.2025. On payment of cost, the Registry is directed to number the main appeals and post the same for admission on 22.08.2025. If the cost is paid on or before 20.08.2025, these petitions stand allowed.
