This petition is filed under Section 378 (3) Cr.P.C, to grant leave to the petitioner to file an appeal against the order of acquittal dated 25.01.2023 made in C.C.No.17 of 2022 passed by the learned XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town at Chennai. 2.Heard Mr.B.L.Sankar, learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner contended that private complaint filed by the present petitioner/complainant was dismissed by the trial Court for non appearance of the complainant on 25.01.2023. 4.In the facts and circumstances of the present case, there are arguable points in the main appeal and the petition itself was not dismissed on merits, therefore, special leave is granted as prayed for. 1\2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
