The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a limited relief for a direction to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2016. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would strongly object to the said prayer on the ground that the petitioner has already retired from service and, therefore, the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 2/5
3.Perusal of the records reveals that no counter-affidavit has been filed by the respondents since the year 2016.
4.In the above circumstances, considering the limited nature of the relief sought by the petitioner, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.05.2016, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of.
