ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.14 of 2014 dated 02.04.2014 on the file of the respondent-Police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the second respondent.

3. This petition has been filed by the accused in Crime No.14 of 2014 to quash the FIR.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it came to the notice of this Court that the same petitioners have filed Crl.OP.No.25498 of 2014 for the same relief through another counsel, and suppressing the same, the petitioners have filed the present petition. This Court has passed final orders in Crl.OP.No.25498 of 2014, today.

5. In view of the suppression resorted to by the petitioners, this petition is dismissed with exemplary cost of Rs.25,000/- payable by the petitioners to the Tamil Nadu State Judicial Academy, Chennai, within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
