ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus seeking a direction against the first respondent, TNPSC, to consider the letter given by the petitioner on 13.03.2025, by which letter, the petitioner claims a right to be recruited as Assistant General Manager, SIPCOT. 2.

The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent appeared through video conference and stated that the said post was reserved for General Turn (Women) and a lady had already been selected after examining her credentials.

In such view of the matter, the petitioner cannot claim any right to be considered for the said post, since the post is reserved for a woman candidate and the same had been filled up by the eligible woman candidate. Therefore, mandamus cannot be issued in this writ petition.
