ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 420, 506(2) and 109 of IPC in Crime No.477 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioners have cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.24,75,500/- and failed to repay the same . Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are innocent person and they have not committed any such offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioners are having seven previous cases. He further submits that the petitioners have cheated the defacto complainant to the tune of Rs.24,75,500/- and failed to repay the same . Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and submissions of the learned Counsel, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. -sd/- 13/06/2022 This order, on being produced, be punctually observed and carried into execution by all concerned TRUE COPY Sub-Assistant Registrar (Statistics/C.S.) High Court, Madras - 600 104.
