2. It is brought to the notice of this Court that in the order dated 25.06.2025, in the 5th line of the paragraph No.6, typographical error had crept in and hence, the same needs correction.
3. Accordingly, the following correction shall be incorporated in the last three lines of the paragraph No.6.
''opportunity of personal hearing, considering the objections filed by Anbarasu, Jagadesan and Rajammal,' and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. Except the above, other contents remain intact.
5. Registry is directed to make necessary corrections in the order dated 25.06.2025 and issue fresh order copy forthwith to the parties concerned.

ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed seeking Mandamus, to direct the
respondent to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's application for variation of conditions of permit dated 30.09.2024 in respect of vehicle No.TN-28/BB-8629, permitted to ply on the route kaveripattinam to Hosur, forthwith.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner holds a stage carriage bus permit issued by the respondent for the route Kaveripattinum to Hosur in respect of Vehicle Number TN 28 BB 8629 valid up to 19.11.2028. Learned counsel would further submit that from 2021, passengers travelling from Kaveripattinam to Palacode via Vellichandhai in the petitioners bus has considerably reduced, because of free travel for ladies in Government buses announced by the Tamilnadu Government. Since, there is no takers for the petitioner's bus, the petitioner on 30.09.2024 applied for variation of permit conditions before the respondent. However, the respondent has not processed the application by notifying the application under Section 6 of the Act 41 of 1992. The petitioner gave grievance complaint to the respondent on 30.10.2024, but till date no action has been taken by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
3. Mr.N.Naveen Kumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondent.

Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner for variation of conditions of permit dated 30.09.2024, in respect of vehicle No.TN-28/BB 8629 will be considered in accordance with law and orders will be passed within a specific time that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Heard both sides and perused the records.
6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 30.09.2024 in respect of Vehicle No.TN-28/BB-8629, permitted to ply on the route Kaveripattinam to Hosur, forthwith after giving due notice to the petitioner, an opportunity of personal hearing and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
7. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
