ORDER

The petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus, directing the Assistant Executive Engineer, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Limited, O & M, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District, the second respondent herein to consider giving the electricity service connection to Survey No.331/3C, Patta No.2283 situated at No.78, Irumbai Village, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District belonging to the petitioner.

2. Mr.M.Varunkumar, learned standing counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 & 2.

This Court, considering the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, hereby directs the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner for provision of Low Tension electricity service connection to the premises in Survey No.331/3C, Patta No.2283 situated at No.78, Irumbai Village, Vanur Taluk, Villupuram District on merits and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
