Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would state that the petitioner, being the Head of the Organizing Committee, has submitted a representation dated 15.05.2016 to the second respondent praying for appropriate permission to conduct a cultural dance programme 'Natiyalayaa' in the temple festival of Sri Mariamman Kovil Festival Vakkanampatti, at Jolarpettai, Thirupathur Taluk, Vellore District and since no order has been passed, he came forward to file this writ petition.

Mr.S.B.Viswanathan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and would submit that for submission of a petition/ representation dated 15.05.2016 to the second respondent, no acknowledgment has been produced. 4.In the light of the facts and circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of and the petitioner is at liberty to submit one more representation to the second respondent under proper acknowledgment praying for appropriate permission to conduct a cultural dance programme by fixing a particular date within two weeks from today and on receipt of the said representation, the second respondent is directed to consider the same in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of one week thereafter and inform the decision taken to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
