ORDER

This court, by order dated 09.10.2024, stayed the proceedings of the 1st respondent dated 30.09.2024, whereby the petitioner was demoted from the post of Assistant General Manager, Coimbatore District Central Cooperative Bank, to the post of Manager, Dindigul Central Cooperative Bank.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that despite his representation seeking reinstatement in service as Assistant General Manager pursuant to the interim order of this Court, his request was not considered.

3. Mr.T.Chezhiyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, submitted that the order under contempt was passed on a miscellaneous petition and that the main writ petition in W.P. No. 30330 of 2024 has since been taken up for final hearing and orders have been reserved.

4. In view of the above, the contempt petition is closed. It is needless to state that the petitioner is at liberty to pursue appropriate remedies based on the outcome of the writ petition in W.P. No. 30330 of 2024. 21-07-2025 kmk
