By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2023. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.

The grievance of the petitioner is that he made representation before the respondents for issuance of patta for his property in Old Survey No.21, 36, New Survey No.164/2, situated at Thathaiyangarpatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District. However, the same has not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present Writ Petition. 5.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that, if an online application is given by the 2/4

petitioner, the same will be considered by the third respondent within a reasonable time.

In such view of the matter, the petitioner shall submit an online application to the third respondent for issuance of patta in his name within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on such application being received, the third respondent shall consider and pass appropriate orders on the same, after giving notice to the neighbouring land owners, on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months thereafter.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
