ORDER
With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This writ petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of patta in his favour for 2.25 acres of land in old No.21, 36, New S.No.164/3, 169/1, Thahaiyangarpatti Village, Omalur Taluk, Salem District in the light of the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2023.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the writ petitioner is that subject property has been purchased by the father of the petitioner by way of a registered document No.1902/1954, 2198/1966. After the death of his father, the property devolved upon the petitioner and the petitioner is in possession of the property. The grievance of the petitioner is that though he has given a representation dated 10.12.2023 seeking issuance of patta, the same was not considered by the 2/4
respondent till date. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2023 and pass orders on the same, after going through the relevant documents, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
