ORDER

This writ petition is filed for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 29.06.2020 and issue patta in her favour.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property originally belonged to the Government and subsequently it was assigned in her favour and she was in possession and enjoyment of the same for nearly four decades. The petitioner gave a representaton to the respondent seeking for issuance of patta in her name. The representation made by the petitioner was forwarded to the second respondent and the second respondent vide letter dated 30.06.2020 had recommended issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner. This letter was addressed to the first respondent. The grievance of the petitioner is that till date the first respondent has not passed any Order inspite of several representation made by the petitioner. been filed before this Court for appropriate direction.

3. Heard Mr.Sankarasubbu, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.Parameswaran , learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in the writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner dated 29.06.2020 and act upon the same after taking into considration the report submitted by the second respondent on 30.06.2020 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass final Orders within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. The petitioner is directed to make fresh representation to the first respondent along with the relevant documents and also a copy of this Order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
