Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to issue license for the petitioner's shop on the basis of the application dated 25.02.2025 vide Reference No.30250225119285044 and subsequently direct respondents 2 and 3 to issue no objection certificate for the shop. 1/4

This writ petition has been filed for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the first respondent to issue license to the petitioner based on the application submitted by the petitioner on 25.02.2025.

2. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the first and second respondents submitted that the application submitted by the petitioner has been rejected and the status of the application is available in the website. He further submitted that if the application had been rejected on the ground that it is incomplete, the petitioner has to resubmit the application with all the particulars. If the application had been rejected on merits, the petitioner has to avail the appellate remedy. It is submitted that the reason for such rejection can be ascertained only if the petitioner goes on-line and seek for the application 2/4

status.

3. In the light of the above submission, it is left open to the petitioner to ascertain the reason for the rejection of the application and act accordingly. This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
