Original petition Application praying that this Hon'ble Court be pleased that a Succession Certificate may be granted to the Petitioners herein with power to collect the securities and to receive the interest and dividends and negotiate and transfer the said securities specified in the schedule.

The petitioners seek Succession Certificate for the Securities held by the deceased S.V.Ramamoorthy, who died intestate on 16.09.2013.

2. The 1st petitioner who is the son of the deceased has been examined as PW1. He has produced the death certificate of the deceased S.V.Ramamoorthy as Ex.P8. The death certificate of the wife of S.V.Ramamoorthy is produced as Ex.P10. PW1 has deposed that the petitioners being the son and the daughter are the only legal heirs.

3. In view of the evidence available, this application is allowed, Succession Certificate is directed to be issued in the name of the 1st petitioner who is the son of the deceased in respect of the Securities mentioned in the Schedule to the petition.
