O R D E R

The contempt petition has been filed for non-compliance of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.25568 of 2021 dated 03.01.2022.

2. The petitioner had filed Crl.O.P.No.25568 of 2021 seeking for a

direction to the respondent police to file a charge sheet in Crime No.2341 of 2020 and this Court by the order dated 03.01.2022 directed the respondent to comply with the order within a period of four months. Thereafter, no action has been taken. Hence, the petitioner has sent a pre-contempt notice dated 10.02.2025 to the respondent. Though the notice was received by the respondent on 13.02.2025, the respondent not filed their final report in this case. Hence, the above contempt petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that in this case, the investigating officer is Sub Inspector of Police and not Inspector of Police and Rakkikumari has been wrongly arrayed as respondent in this case. He further submitted that after the directions of this Court, now investigation completed and charge sheet filed before the learned District Munsif-cumJudicial Magistrate, Pallipattu, Thiruvallur District on 20.11.2024 through e-filing and the same was taken on file in C.C.No.272 of 2025 on 20.08.2025. Now the case has been posted on 07.10.2025 for service of summons. 4.Recording the same, the contempt petition is closed. 03.09.2025 Index : Yes/No
