ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 392 of IPC in Crime No. 133 of 2022, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that one Moorthy and unknown persons had threatened the defacto complainant and snatched the cell phone from him. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that based on the confession statement given by the co-accused, the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Hence, he prays anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner snatched the cell phone from the defacto complainant. He further submitted that there are four previous cases pending against the petitioner. Hence, he vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the nature of offence committed by the petitioner, and taking note of the fact that the petitioner is having four previous cases, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
