The petitioner is the landlady and the respondent is tenant and order under contempt is the directions issued by the learned III Assistant Judge, III Assistant City Civil Court, Chennai, in I.A.Nos.3 and 4 of 2024 in O.S.No.825 of 2024 dated 12.12.2024 to the respondent/tenant to pay the arrears of the rent and the future rent to the petitioner/landlady.
When the matter was taken up for hearing on 19.11.2025, it was represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that key and possession of the property has been handed over to the petitioner, but the respondent and his wife have filed suit for injunction against the petitioner/landlady.
