ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 18.06.2025 and 09.01.2026.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made representations dated 18.06.2025 and 09.01.2026 seeking for an issuance of Patta on his name in respect of property situated at Selaiyur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District comprised in Old Survey No. 146/7 (Part) Ward I, Block No.2, Town Survey No.16, measuring an extent of 3 cents. However, the same were not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Mr.B.Pachaiyappan, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioner's representations dated 18.06.2025 and 09.01.2026 will be considered within a period of eight weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated

18.06.2025 and 09.01.2026 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
