COMMON PRAYER: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 herein to approve the petitioner's appointment as Sweeper in WPs 13557 & WP 13558/21 and as watchman in WP 13560/21 in the 4th respondent College with effect from 22.01.2021 with all service and monetary benefits in light of the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.(MD) No.1234/2014 dated 26.02.2015, W.P. Nos.6679 and 6680 of 2016 dated 24.11.2017, W.A. Nos.2096 and 2124 of 2019 dated 19.07.2019 and proceedings of the second respondent in Pa.Mu.No.4874/Aa2/2013 dated 28.08.2019.

C O M M O N O R D E R These writ petitions are filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to approve the petitioner' appointment as Sweeper or Watchman as the case may be in the 4th respondent College with effect from 22.01.2021 with all service and monetary benefits in light of the orders passed by this Hon'ble Court in W.P.(MD) No.1234/2014 dated 26.02.2015, W.P. Nos.6679 and 6680 of 2016 dated 24.11.2017, W.A. Nos.2096 and 2124 of 2019 dated 19.07.2019 and proceedings of the second respondent in Pa.Mu.No.4874/Aa2/2013 dated 28.08.2019.

2. Though the petitioners sought for issuance of writ of mandamus to issue positive directions to the respondents 1 and 2, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within a time stipulated by this Court.

3. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioners' representation or the case pleaded before this Court, this Court directs the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioners dated 18.03.2021 independently, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Accordingly, these writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
