The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to release the payment due to the petitioner with interest in the name of retention amount for the work executed by the petitioner as per the work order in B.R.R.C.No.B1/3813/2018-1 dated 25.09.2018.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 to 4 circulated the order passed by the 3rd respondent/Zonal Officer-I for release of retention amount to the petitioner in his proceedings No.k/m/1/e/f/vz;/gp2-6597-2023 dated 03.07.2023 and the same is recorded.
3. It is also stated by both the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondents 1 to 4 that the retention amount in respect of the 4th respondent was already paid.
4. Recording the said statement, the writ petition is closed. The 3rd respondent is directed to make payment to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of copy of this order. No costs. 04.07.2023 Index : Yes/No Speaking order:Yes/No dm 3/4
