Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the order dated 07.11.2023 passed by the second respondent vide Se.Mu.M3/833951/2023 confirming the order dated 02.05.2022 vide Proceeding No.Na.Ka.A6-128-2022 passed by the third respondent, quash the same and consequently, to direct the fourth respondent herein to cancel the joint patta No.2085 and restore the earlier patta that stood in the name of the petitioners pertaining to property measuring 0.11.50 hectare in Survey No.126/1 situated in Potharai Village, Polur Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District. Today, when this Court is about to dismiss the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners seeks permission to withdraw the petition, with liberty to file a civil suit and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.

In view of the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn, with liberty to establish their rights in the civil suit in the manner known to law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
