This matter has come up by way of being mentioned today at the instance of the learned counsel for the petitioner. Paragraph No.3 of the order dated 03.08.2015, reads as follows: "The law is quite settled that patta issued is not a document of title. Any patta, even after issuance, is subject to the decree of civil Court. Admittedly, the petitioner has filed comprehensive civil suit in O.S.No.269 of 2010 which is pending consideration on the file of the Sub Court, Poonamallee. Furthermore, the petitioner has got alternative remedy by way of appeal"

The above portion of the order is modified as follows: "The law is quite settled that patta issued is not a document of title. Any patta, even after issuance, is subject to the decree of civil Court. Admittedly, the fifth respondent has filed comprehensive civil suit in O.S.No.269 of 2013 which is pending consideration on the M.M.SUNDRESH, J.

kua file of the Sub Court, Poonamallee. The petitioner has also filed O.S.No.80 of 2010 on the file of District Munsif Court, Poonamalle. Furthermore, the petitioner has got alternative remedy by way of appeal"

Registry is directed to issue corrected copy of the order and also return the original impugned order to the learned counsel for the petitioner.
