The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus to direct the respondents to release and disburse the gratuity, contribution to the special provident fund, general provident fund, encashment of earned leave and unearned leave along with 18% interest to the petitioner, by considering his representation dated 10.02.2025 within a reasonable period to be fixed by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he has sent a representation on 10.02.2025 seeking to disburse the the retirement benefits along with interest, and such representation is yet to be considered by the respondents.

3. At this juncture, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that they would consider the said representation within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.02.2025, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
