ORDER

By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner claims that her husband was working as Fitter in the Anaicut Panchayat Union and retired from service on 31.5.2010, and he died on 26.5.2013, leaving behind the petitioner,

three daughters and one son. According to the petitioner, she is entitled to life time/family pension on account of the demise of her husband. The petitioner would state that unfortunately, in the Office of Tirupattur Panchayat Union, the designation of her husband was given as Assistant Electrician/Electrician and on account of the same, she is not able to get the family/life time pension, though her husband during his life time, has received a minimum pension of Rs.3,000/- per month, and the petitioner in this regard, has submitted representations to the respondent, and taking into consideration the same, the third respondent vide letter in Na.Ka.A1/3819/2009 dated 25.6.2015, addressed to the second respondent, requested him to make necessary entries in the Service Register.

3.The grievance expressed by the petitioner, is that in spite of the request made by the third respondent to the second respondent, necessary corrections have not yet been made in the Service Register and consequently, she is not getting the life time/family pension due and payable and hence, she came forward to file this writ petition.

4.Heard the submissions of the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the first respondent, and Ms.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepted notice on behalf of the respondents 2 to 4. 5.This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioner, directs the second respondent to comply with the request made by the third respondent vide his letter dated 25.6.2015, and make necessary corrections in the Service Register and forward the same to the fourth respondent within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the fourth respondent, on receipt of the same, is directed to take immediate and necessary steps for disbursement of life time/family pension to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
