With consent of both sides, this Writ Petition has been taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give police protection to the petitioner to conduct the festival to be celebrated from 02.05.2025 to 20.05.2025 for Sri Dharmaraja, Drowbathiamman Thirukkoil, Uthangarai Town and Post, Krishnagiri District.
3. Considering the limited relief sought for in the petition, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, directs the respondents to consider the representation dated 20.03.2025 made by the petitioner seeking permission to conduct the festival to be celebrated from 02.05.2025 to 20.05.2025 for Sri Dharmaraja, Drowbathiamman Thirukkoil, Uthangarai Town and Post, Krishnagiri District, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4
