Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.K.Magesh, learned standing counsel who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.

2. This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the first respondent, the Commissioner, Corporation of Coimbatore, Coimbatore - 1, to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 10.04.2015.

3. The limited prayer sought for by the petitioner is to the extent that the representation for effecting necessary name change in the property tax assessment be considered. Hence, this Court, without going into the merits of matter, considering the limited relief sought for, hereby directs the first respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 10.04.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
