Respondents Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 17.08.2017 seeking assignment of appropriate placement of seniority as per the Teachers Recruitment Board select list in strict adherence of the roaster / turn therein on merits and as per law within a time to the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER
This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondents 2 and 3 to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 17.08.2017 in regard to the assignment of appropriate placement of seniority as per the Teachers Recruitment Board select list in strict adherence of the roaster therein on merits and as per law
within a time to be stipulated by this Court.

According to the petitioner, he was placed in the provisional list of selected candidates at Sl.No.4 with Roll No.X04140054 on the basis of the roaster and with reference to the merit for the year 2009-2010. On the basis of the selection, the appointment orders came to be issued on 18.10.2010. Since the petitioner received the appointment order on 21.10.2010, he had reported for duty on the next day, namely, on 22.10.2010 in the office of the 4th respondent. After showing the petitioner at Sl.No.4 in the selection list, it is claimed that seniority has been assigned on the basis of the merit and that the roaster has been omitted to be considered, on which the petitioner has given a representation on 17.08.2017, for which till date, there is no response.
3.Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that a direction may be given to the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner. 4.Mr.S.Navaneethan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and seeks four weeks time to consider the petitioner's representation.
5.Considering the limited relief sought for in this petition and without going into the merits of the matter, this Court hereby directs the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
