O R D E R

The petitioners have filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the appeal filed by the petitioners dated 16.10.2009 in Appeal No. 4549/2013 and issue an order transferring the patta with respect to the Survey No.10/8 of Palavakkam Village, Tambaram Taluk, measuring 20,317 Sq.ft., as per the site condition measuring 22,975 Sq.ft vide Document No.3869 dated 28.06.2006 on the file of SRO, Neelangarai.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that inspite the petitioners filed appeal before the 2nd respondent, challenging the order passed by the 1st respondent as early as on 16.10.2009, the 2nd respondent has not passed any order so far. Further, the learned counsel for the petitioners submitted the petitioners have made their written submissions as early as on 20.01.2014.

3.Mrs.K. Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to pass orders in accordance with law. 4.In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioners' appeal dated 16.10.2009 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
