By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner claims that he is otherwise abled (physically challenged) having the disability to the extent of

50% and he is running a bunk shop on the line of MTH Road, by the side of Saravanan Stores, Opp. TVS Lucas, Padi, Chennai - 600 050 and she is selling Tea and Tiffin in an hygienic manner. It is further submitted that the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 21.04.2016 praying for grant of license to the said shop and since it has not been disposed of, he came forward to file this writ petition.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has drawn the attention of this Court to the order of this Court dated 16.04.2015 made in W.P.No.10873 of 2015 and would submit that in similar facts and circumstances, this Court had directed the concerned authorities to dispose of the representation in accordance with law and prays for the same order.

4. This Court heard the submissions of Ms.Mercy Gnanammal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of respondents 1 and 3 and Mr.A.Nagarajan, learned standing counsel for Corporation, who accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.

5. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the same, directs the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 21.04.2016, on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible, not later than four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
