Respondents PRAYER:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the records in detention order vide Rc.No.C2/13038/2021 dated 03.06.2021 on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same and direct the respondents herein to produce the body of the petitioner's sister Poongodi, W/o.Bakkiyaraj, aged about 37 years, the detenue, now confined in the Special Prison for Women, Vellore, before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Rc.No.C2/13038/2021 dated 03.06.2021 detaining her sister as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenue has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.3268, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIV) Department, dated 26.07.2021 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
