ORDER : The Court Made the efollowing order :- The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 294(b), 498 (A), 506(ii) of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 in Cr.No.1 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner and the defacto complainant are the husband and wife. The petitioner along with other accused persons demanded dowry from the defacto complainant. The respondent police registered a case against the petitioner and other accused person.
3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and the petitioner is no way connected with the offences and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. Due to family dispute, a false case has been foisted against the petitioner and his family members. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Government Advocate submitted that after marriage, the petitioner tortured the defacto complainant in many ways by way of abusing her in filthy language, assualted her physically at many times by demanding dowry and finally, he driven out the defacto complainant from the matrimonial house. Hence, he strongly objected to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Considering the gravity of the offence committed by the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
