This petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 29.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on the complaint dated 29.06.2016 lodged by the petitioner, petition enquiry is pending in CSR.No.599 of 2016 against one Mahendran. On the complaint by the said Mahendran, a regular case in Crime No.530 of 2016 has been registered by the 2nd respondent Police against this petitioner's husband for offences under Section 341, 294 [b], 324 and 506[ii] IPC.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that as a counter blast to the FIR registered in Crime No.530 of 2016, this petitioner has given the present complaint.

5. However, the 2nd respondent Police is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR.No.599 of 2016 and take action in accordance with law, either register an FIR or close the case, under due intimation to the petitioner.
