This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 19.01.2018 and to issue patta in favour of the petitioner.

The case of the petitioner is that she along with her husband purchased the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 05.12.2011. The grievance of the petitioner is that she has applied for a patta and the same was not considered. According to the petitioner, her vendor was granted patta before she purchased the property and in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
fact, both the Tahsildar as well as the District Revenue Officer have recommended for the issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner. The petitioner has made a representation on 19.01.2018 in this regard and since the same was not considered, the present writ petitioner has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions. 3.
Heard Mr.S.Senthil Nathan, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.M.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief as sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 19.01.2018 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 19.01.2018 and a copy of this order. Resultantly, this writ petition is disposed of with the above directions.
