2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a member of the festival committee of Arulmigu Sri Mariamman Tirukoil, Magamadhupuram Village and the petitioner submitted a representation dated 18.05.2016 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural programme in connection with the temple festival to be held on 02.06.2016 between 07.00 pm and 10.00 pm and since no order has been passed in that representation and that the festival day is fast approaching, he came forward to file this writ petition. He would further submit that no unlawful or obscene activities will be carried on while conducting the cultural programme. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. This Court heard the submissions of Mr.R.Govindasamy, learned Special Government Pleaders, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent.
4. Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this Court, in the light of the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the representation, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2016 in accordance with law and pass orders on or before 31.05.2016 and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
