ORDER

This petition has been filed by the defacto complainant to direct the fifth respondent to file a final report in Crime No.222 of 2018 at early.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the fifth respondent has registered a case on 29.08.2018 in Crime No.222 of 2018 under Sections 147,294(b),323,354, 506(i) IPC. He further submitted that even though, the case was registered on 29.08.2018, so far the fifth respondent has not taken any steps to secure the accused and hence he requests to direct the fifth respondent to file a final report at earlier.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the case is under investigation and she further submitted that four weeks times may be granted for filing final report.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the fifth respondent is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report within four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid directions, this petition is disposed of.
