O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the petitioner's complaint dated 09.09.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3.It is seen that this petitioner has lodged a complaint against one Narayanan alleging that he is a fake advocate. Further, it is seen that Sub-Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, EDF-1, Team - 1, Vepery, Chennai - 07 is seized of the matter.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that since the amount involved is only Rs.25,00,000/-, the Central Crime Branch is contemplating to transfer the complaint to the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adayar. He further submitted that though the amount involved in the offence may be lesser, considering the nature of the allegation that the said Narayanan is a fake advocate, it is desirable that this investigation is done by the Central Crime Branch and not by the local police.

5. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to cooperate for the enquiry and the Sub-Inspector of Police, CCB, EDFhttps://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

1, Team - 1, is directed to proceed further with the investigation and take action in accordance with law.

With the above direction, the criminal original petition is closed.
