O R D E R

(Made by Huluvadi G.Ramesh,J) The petitioner has come up with the above writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent to issue community certificate certifying that the petitioner's husband and children belong to Kurumans community, which is a Scheduled Tribe.

2. Heard Mr.M.Radhakrishnan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.A.Srijayanthi, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, she belongs to Kurumans Community, which is a Scheduled Tribe. The petitioner submitted https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

an application to the respondent on 26.10.2015 to issue community certificates to her husband P.C.Sivakumar and her children S.S.Sabareeswari and S.Pragatheeshwaran, stating they belong to Kurumans community, a Scheduled Tribe. She has also enclosed the community certificates of her sister, brother and nephew, in support of her claim that she belongs to Kurumans community. Since the respondent had not issued the certificate till now, the petitioner has come up with this writ petition.

4. This Court, while disposing a batch of writ petitions, had directed the Revenue Divisional Officer/respondent to issue community certificates in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks.

5. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of, directing the respondent to take action on the application of the petitioner for the issue of community certificates and pass orders, after verification and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
