This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to alter the charges in Cr.No.6 of 2015 as per the averments made in the petitioner's complaint dated 18.8.2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. On a complaint given by the petitioner dated 18.08.2015, a case in Crime No.6 of 2015 for offences under Sections 498(A) & 417 IPC has been registered as against the petitioner's husband. The prayer in this petition is for a direction to the respondent to include other offences in the FIR. The amendment of the FIR cannot ordered, however, during the course of investigation, if the police gather incriminating materials, then, it is open for them to file an alteration report before the concerned Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
