ORDER

Heard Mr.S.N.Amarnath, learned counsel for petitioner, Mr.N.Damodharan, learned Standing counsel for the respondents 1 to 3, Mr.K.A.Mariappan, learned counsel for 4th respondent, Mr.P.Mathivanan, learned counsel for 7th respondent and Mr.S. Thangavel, learned counsel for respondents 6 and 8.

2. With consent of learned counsel on either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the official respondents viz., the Electricity Board to consider his representation dated 07.06.2016.

4. The representation has been considered and the Superintending Engineer, the 2nd respondent has given a reply on 18.04.2017, a copy of which has been produced by the learned counsel for petitioner. Therefore, if the petitioner is aggrieved by any such observations in the said proceedings, it is open to the petitioner to work out his remedy in accordance with law. The learned counsel for petitioner submitted that none of the private respondents are entitled for the House Tax Assessment and the Block Development Officer has cancelled the house tax assessments granted in the name of the 7 persons. These are all the subsequent development after filing of the writ petition and at this juncture, the prayer sought for in this writ petition has worked itself out.

With the above observations, the writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the appropriate forum to work out his remedy in accordance with law. No costs.
