Mr.D.Suriyanarayanan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of the parties, the main writ petition is take up and disposed of at the admission stage.

2. The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the 2nd and 3rd respondents to consider his representation dated dated 07.11.2016, wherein and whereby, he sought for transfer of UDR patta.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent who is the competent authority will consider the representation of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

4. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of only by directing the second respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2016 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after hearing all the parties concerned.
