Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, directing the respondent herein to register the case based on the order passed by the Judicial Magistrate Court, Thittakudi in Crl.M.P No.4352 of 2023 dated 24.12.2024 under appropriate penal provisions of law.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register a case, as directed by the Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi, by an order dated 24.12.2024 in C.M.P.No.4352 of 2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner had lodged a complaint and sought a direction under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. in C.M.P.No.4352 of 2023. The learned Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi, by an order dated 24.12.2024, directed the respondent to register an FIR and proceed with the investigation. However, till date, the respondent has not registered the FIR and has failed to comply with the said order.

4. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to register the FIR forthwith, as directed by the Judicial Magistrate, Thittakudi, dated 24.12.2024 in C.M.P.No.4352 of 2023, forthwith and proceed with the investigation in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands allowed.
