Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to take appropriate action against the sixth respondent and consequently recover the misused Government Funds along with interest by considering the representation of the petitioner herein dated 23.08.2016 within an appropriate time.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Mr.R.Nalliyappan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Muthukumar, learned State Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the first respondent be directed to take action against the sixth respondent and then recover the amount misused by the sixth respondent.

3. An application was given under the Right to Information Act, wherein, it was informed that explanation is sought from the sixth respondent.

4. The petitioner is not even a resident within the local limits of the panchayat concerned. More over, only an explanation is sought. There is no order indicting the sixth respondent on record. In the absence thereof, no orders can be passed in the matter.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.
