O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent police to give police protection to the petitioner to put up construction of the compound wall in respect of land comprised in village Survey No.318/2A to an extent of 40 cents in Alamathi Village, Tiruvallur District.

2. The learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that one Prabhakar has already filed a suit in O.S.No.22 of 2003 before the Hon'ble District Munsiff, Tiruvallur, seeking for interim injunction restraining the petitioner from interfering the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's father property for constructing a compound wall and the same was dismissed by an order dated 08.06.2019. Inspite of the interim order passed, the plaintiff is continuously interfering with the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner and thereby causing https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

threat to the petitioner and disturbing the construction of compound wall. Therefore, the petitioner gave a representation to the respondent police seeking for police protection. Since the same was not considered by the respondent police, the petitioner prays for appropriate relief.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that the the petitioner seeks police protection for constructing a compound wall.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry with the petitioner along with the counter part and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
