ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence under Sections 406 and 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.265 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that one Muruganantham and Kannapan are business friends of the de-facto complainant. They represented that they are having an extreme powerful object which will fetch good wealth and demanded a sum of Rs.30 lakhs. On 18.04.2022, the complainant arrived at MX lodge, Singanallur with cash of Rs.30 lakhs. At that time, the accused persons have entered into the complainants room and gave a bag with brick stones and instructed to open after three hours. Thereafter, the complainant opened the bag and he came to know that he was cheated. Hence, this complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is running a real estate business and his name also not found in the F.I.R., further the petitioner is an innocent person and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He would further submit that the false case has been foisted as against the petitioner. Hence, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police vehemently opposed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner on the ground that totally four accused in this case, petitioner is arrayed as A4. He further submitted that the petitioner and other accused received a sum of Rs.30 lakhs from the de facto complainant. The other accused were arrested and remanded to the Judicial custody.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also taking note of the fact that custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
